TITLE: Pays de la Loire - cultural and natural heritage AUTHOR: Markéta Malá DEPARTMENT: Department of French Language and Literature SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Tomáš Klinka ABSTRACT: The theme of this Bachelor Thesis is a French region Pays de la Loire and its cultural a natural heritage. In the first part, the region is presented from a several points of view: firstly his position in France is located, then his administrative subdivision is described (to each department its capital city is matched) and last but not least, several basic geographical data are mentioned such as its area, its relief and the islands belonging to its administration. The second part deals with the culture of the region, the biggest and culturally the most important cities of the region. Then it deals also with the regional languages, local specialities, selected castles, museums and festivals. At the end of this part, the regional orchestra and Academy relating universities are presented. The third part is dedicated to the natural heritage. It is trying to find out if the region is endowed with natural parks, gardens and other natural reserves.
